Burnley appoint two club scouts



JJ Anderson has today appoint two new scouts for Burnley FC

Portsmouth's Ralph Nkomo and Cagliari's Vlada Stosic both join the scouting team, provising player knowledge from Zimbabwe and Serbia respectively. Anderson sees these two scouts as key parts of his staff, allowing the club to scout further regions for new talent.

Ipswich loan Williams



SAT 3RD AUG 2013 - Ipswich have announced the signing of new Burnley youngster Simon Williams on a 5 month loan.

Burnley manager JJ Anderson made it clear that he was looking to loan out the hot prospect upon his arrival, so it comes as no surprise to see Ipswich snap up the youngster already.

Burnley appoint new coach



FRI 2ND AUG 2013 - Burnley have today announced the signing of Frank Howell as a new team coach.

The job not only marks Howell's first in the Premier League but first in his entire career. Anderson believes that Howell can make a significant contribution to set-piece training.

Burnley duo sign extended contracts



FRI 2ND AUG 2013 - Two Burnley players have put pen to paper on a contract extension.

Jermaine Defoe (pictured) and Federico Balzaretti have both extended their current deals, ensuring them another 2 years at Turf Moor. Both players announced that they were more than happy to sign this contract extension.

Hibbert joins Oldham on 6 month loan.



THURS AUG 1ST 2013 - Oldham Athletic have secured the loan signing of Burnley wing back Tom Hibbert.

The 6 month deal sees the Clarets defender join the League One outfit until Feb 1st, where Oldham have the option to extend the loan further.

Anderson has signed a number of players since his arrival who have been shipped out on loan to further improve their craft in a more competitive environment.

CLARETS SIGN MUSACCHIO FOR RECORD FEE



MON 28TH JULY 2013 - Burnley have made their 4th signing of this transfer window, snapping up Zaragoza defender Mateo Musacchio for a club record of £16.75M.

The defender, only 22 years old, joins following a storming season in the LIGA BBVA. The Argentine has 2 international caps to his name already and is looking to add more.

Burnley announce link with Chongqing



THURS 25TH JULY 2013 - Burnley FC and Chinese side Chongqing Lifan have today announced a new link between the two clubs.

The link will help to see both teams gain exposure in their corresponding continents, which merchandising sales expected to improve for both teams.
